Dear Dr. Polisky and staff –
Thanks for giving me the opportunity to express my feelings and opinion as to the quality of care I have received from your practice.
I have been a patient since late 2001 and have seen you and your staff on a variety of topics. These include : mole removal, skin cancer screenings, various filler injections, hair removal and microdermabrasion .
•My genetic ancestry is primarily Northern European( Irish , English and Belgian), and thus I have inherited a skin complexion makeup definitely on the fair side. In addition , I was a child and teen when SPF and the like were not a concern or even recognized by the public as significant, and did endure my share of sunburns due to many long hours on beaches and in swim competitions.
•I came to your practice primarily to consult with you for skin safety issues prompted in part by my mother’s skin cancer issues later in her life, but was then pleased to discover how much good care was also available in the area of cosmetics. Until I came to your practice , I had no idea how much good work had been done by your practice for so many people addressing so many issues. While I personally have had no skin cancer issues, I do believe in prevention techniques where possible.
•In discussing the actual care that takes place while at the office and post- procedure , I can only say that it has been fabulous! Your staff is always friendly , no question is a foolish one and your fees are quite reasonable. I also very much appreciate the periodic open houses that you have to introduce new products, vendors or services. They are quite informative and fun too, and I have taken advantage of some of your specials those nights.
•Many people have asked me about the pain or discomfort that is or could be associated with some of the work. My experience is as follows : the pre – procedure processes that you provide to your patients greatly lessen potential pain. For example, once I was “numbed” for the Radiesse injections and enough time elapsed , the only sensation I experienced during the actual injections was pressure ( not pain ) and later some minor swelling and tenderness at the injection site. I expected this and have no problem with it.
•In terms of results or the “bottom line”, let me say that they are extraordinary. One of the greatest compliments I can give is that friends and family will say to me statements like “you look different “, or ” you look like you just came back from vacation”. Even better is when my best friend or others look at me , know something is different but cannot put their finger on what it is. This reaction from them can be quite humorous. I have quite naturally referred friends to your practice
In conclusion , I don’t know what the future holds for me in terms of my derm needs or wants, but I do know that your practice must be one of the best in the business anywhere, and I will be back.
Sincerely,
Herb Lambrechts

Year End Confession
It’s the end of the year and I thought it best to confess to the good doctor about my shortcomings. My defense is slim, but liking veggies should not be a bad thing. According to the Rosacea Tripwires list, my whole dietary life is in jeopardy.
At the end of the summer I had decided to eat more vegetables. It was the end of the growing season and I thought it would be healthier.
After just a week, I had a raging Rosacea outbreak. When Dr. P gave me the Tripwires list I realized I ate almost all the foods I was supposed to avoid. I was the Queen of the Tripwires list.
So bottom line: when the good doctor tells you that there are Tripwires, pay attention. I must say I will be more aware, but I cannot give everything up. There will be times I will fall off the wagon, but hey – that’s a good reason to visit Dr. P.
